Track Viewer

The whole route is loaded into a window, and the user is able to fly around the route, basically! This is an invaluable tool for any BVE route developer, since it saves the need to load a route under development into the main program, and it also enables the developer to view the route from any angle, as opposed to just being able to see it from a 'drivers eye-view'. This facility makes it ideal for positioning off-track objects such as buildings and the bird's eye views that are possible are invaluable when it comes to creating complex track layouts and junctions.

Intercity liveried Class 86 AC Electric near Loch Barratt. Intercity Swallow liveried Class 47826 'Springburn', under the wires at Pinwhirrie.

It's also great to use, and you'll find a whole load of screen shots like the two above, captured using the Track Viewer, in the Gallery section of this site.

Instructions for use...

On the menu bar, go to 'File' and 'Open' - A box appears from which you select a route file to load into the viewer.
